Lund's slogan is "the little big city” and as a student, it couldn't have been more on true. The nations in Lund is central to the student life. There are 12 different nations There are 12 different nations where each has its own character. Most of them organize bars, clubs, dinners, spex and other goodies. To be able to go to nation, you must be a member of Studentlund.

Accommodation
As a new student in Lund, the housing situation can feel hopeless. But fear not, there are several ways you can get housing. Below we have listed some useful links.
AF Bostäder
AF manages roughly 6,000 housing units and is southern Sweden's largest student housing company. Here you will find both corridor rooms and apartments. As soon as you receive your admission notice, you can join the housing queue. As a newcomer to Lund, you have "novice priority", which means that you have priority on certain housing reserved for so-called "novices" in Lund. You will find more information about AF here.

Many students in Lund live in nations. You often get priority in the housing queue if you join the nation. So contact them and apply to become a member!

Get a bike
In Lund, it is bicycle that counts. If you can't bring a bike here, it's great to buy one here, both new and used!
Register and change your address
When you get a home, it is important to register your move and change your address. It makes life enormously easier. Don't forget to get home insurance either!
